Daniel has won prestigious national and international competitions, including the AMSA World Piano Competition in Cincinnati, OH (3rd Prize), the Rivere D'Oro Giovanni Talenti Competition in San Bartolomeo, Italy (1st prize), the Profil Special Award for his composition "X-cussion" for piano and percussion, and a Society of Composers Miami chapter film scoring award.

He has performed at world class music venues such as the Carnegie Recital Hall and the United Nations Auditorium in New York, The San Bartolomeo Cathedral in Italy, and the New World Center in Miami. He had his debut as a soloist with the Transylvania State Philharmonic in 2006, performing Bella Bartok's Rhapsody Op. 1 for piano and orchestra, and he performed his composition "Vitreous," for piano and orchestra at the National University of Music in Bucharest in 2007 to much critical acclaim.

Daniel has more than 10 years of experience teaching piano, composition, and music technology lessons to students of all levels from ages 5 to 70. He has a passion for sharing his musical knowledge with his students, and watching them pursue their performance and creative goals. His private students have been accepted at world class programs such as Interlochen, New World School of the Arts, and Julliard.
