Yoshie Nakayama is a producer, trombonist, and vocalist from Tokyo, Japan. Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music with Music Education degree as well as Music Instructor's License at high school and junior high school. After 11 years of office work experience, she decided to learn music production. She graduated from Berklee College of Music with Contemporary Writing and Productions diploma while receiving scholarship and Contemporary Writing and Productions Achievement Award.
She worked as an arranger or/and as vocalist or trombonist with Alejandro Sanz, Jacob Collier, Milton Nascimento, Joyce Moreno, Color Violeta, George Garzone, John Patitucci, Danny Rivera, Ambrose Akinmusire, Stefon Harris, Tiger Okoshi, Tsunenori ‘Lee’ Abe, Shinobu Segawa, and many more.
Her priority when it comes to music instruction is to enjoy the time with students as the word ‘music’ is written as ‘enjoy sound’ in Japanese. She knows the best way to approach each individual’s goal, and work with them to achieve their musical path.
